Upgrading Your Gmail Account

December 09 2011

In real estate, email tends to be a place where many high resolution flyers and photos are often sent and received. Our industry likes fat emails that can quickly consume the free storage levels in Gmail. For most users, 7 GB is about 70,000 to 100,000 emails. 20 GB is about 10,000 high resolution photos.

Given that most business professionals get hundreds of emails each day, it does not take long before you fill up your free storage allotment provided with your free Gmail account. Gmail is free if you only need 7 GB of storage. Over time, many have reached the maximum, causing the painful task of requiring users to go back and delete old messages. Its time consuming.

Today, you can add an additional 20 GB of storage for old email for $5 per year. The pricing is so super low, it is hard to justify wasting the time it may take to keep your account under 7 GB and the risk of losing an important email.

Victor Lund of the WAV Group provides this quick video that explains what you can do in the event that you run out of storage in your free Gmail account. To watch the video, click onto the next page.
