California Regional MLS Signs Direct Data Share Agreement with Ventura County Regional Data Share (VCRDS)

January 15 2015

SAN DIMAS, Calif.--California Regional MLS (CRMLS), the nation's largest and most recognized MLS, servicing more than 73,000 real estate professionals, has signed a data share agreement with Ventura County Regional Data Share (VCRDS).

"Ventura County Regional Data Share (VCRDS), serving about 4,500 subscribers, is pleased that we have successfully negotiated an agreement to data share with CRMLS"

VCRDS and CRMLS will share listing information directly with each other and will import each other's listing data into each respective MLS system. The data will begin streaming in the first quarter of 2015. The organizations will begin to exchange reciprocal passwords in early January 2015. VCRDS will join CDAR, CLAW, CRISNet, iTech MLS and Palm Springs Association of REALTORS® in the new direct data share initiative.

"CRMLS is making great strides in proactively delivering data throughout the state of California via our own technology in a well-organized and cost effective manner. The addition of VCRDS's data will definitely strengthen this initiative and bring us closer to completing the aggregation of listings in Southern California, allowing real estate professionals to advance their business," said CRMLS Chief Executive Officer Art Carter.

"Ventura County Regional Data Share (VCRDS), serving about 4,500 subscribers, is pleased that we have successfully negotiated an agreement to data share with CRMLS," said Dennis Goldstein, president of Ventura County Coastal Association of REALTORS®. "We know all our broker participant members and subscribers will benefit greatly from the sharing of MLS listing information. We look forward to a continuing successful business relationship."
