CMLS 2011 Conference Attendees to Visit Historic Tucson Venue

September 28 2011

Tucson, AZ--( September 28, 2011) -  This year's CMLS Conference attendees will visit Old Tucson, where over 300 movies and TV productions were filmed including John Wayne westerns Rio Bravo and McLintock! CMLS2011, hosted by the Tucson Association of REALTORS®, will take place October 5 - 7 at the Westin La Paloma in Tucson. FBS - Creators of flexmls®, will be sponsoring the night out at the famous Old Tucson.

Built in 1939 for the movie Arizona, Old Tucson has had many classics filmed there such as The Three Amigos and Tombstone starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer. Those attending the "Hootenanny" at Old Tucson should wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. The night features appetizers and drink tickets provided by the event sponsor, FBS.  Old Tucson also has venues where you can purchase dinner and dessert including homemade BBQ, fudge and more.  Don't forget about shopping! Their gift shops feature apparel, keepsakes and collectibles. Buses depart from the main entrance of La Paloma to Old Tucson at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 6.

Aside from stepping out to experience Tucson, CMLS2011 attendees will enjoy an opening cocktail reception on Wednesday October 5 from 6 - 8pm at La Paloma, sponsored by LPS Real Estate Group. With gorgeous weather and a colorful sunset met with music by Mariachi Luz de Luna, the evening will kick off what promises to be a great conference. The night will also feature tasty appetizers and exhibitor/sponsor networking. Attire is business casual.

Let's not forget about the Golf Tournament on the morning of October 5, sponsored by Goomzee. Golfers will play on a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.  The course was designed by Jack himself and is one of his originals. The day starts with a breakfast, sponsored byTerradatum / Clarus.  Golfers will receive drink tickets courtesy of Cloud CMA by W & R Studios and prizes provided by DocuSign.

The conference will conclude with a closing dinner party surround by five spectacular pools at La Paloma on Friday, October 7 at 6:30pm. The evening is being sponsored by REALTOR.com and will feature live jazz music by Tucson's own Joe Bourne. Attire is business causal.
