Liking things on websites just became way more transparent …
As of yesterday morning, Facebook users liking something on a third-party site now creates an entire feed story on Facebook, not just a single line item.
This is huge!
Publishers will see this as huge improvement, but when you see the results on your profile page you might be shocked! Here is an example of a page I liked:
The last I heard there were about 2,500,000 sites with the Facebook Like button installed – but I’ll bet there will rush to implement the button if site owners haven’t already. Here is Mashable's take on the changes.
Will this change Facebook users behavior? That remains to be seen...
