4 Ways to Use a Condo Website to Generate Leads

webbox condosLast week in chat, a customer asked me "What is the point of a condo website? How can I use it to increase my business?" I hear this question all the time and I felt like I should write an article on how agents can use condo websites to market themselves.

A general agent website is a great tool--it can get your name out there, and help customers become familiar with who you are and what you do. What happens when you need to hit a specific market? How can you make yourself look like an expert to clients interested in condos? Sometimes, a generalized site will not get the job done, and this is where niche sites come in.

Here are four great ways you can use a condo website to market your business and generate leads.

1) Niche Marketing - When creating a condo website, you are creating a page for a niche market: prospective condo buyers and sellers. This allows you to focus your content to meet their needs and really look like an expert in condos. It will also allow you to draw in clients who are searching for an agent who specializes in condos rather than a general agent. Why deal with someone who is only somewhat familiar with condos when you can deal with someone who is an expert with them? This is a great strategy to ensure a client's confidence in your ability to market their condo, or find them a new one.

2) Content Marketing – Sharing relevant information with your customers is never a bad idea; it helps sell them on an idea or service without actually having to directly sell to them. Today there are so many choices when considering an agent and a customer wants to feel like they have chosen the right one, not been sold one. Use your condo website as a chance to inform your customer and demonstrate your knowledge and expertise at the same time. Click here for a great example of how this can be done seamlessly.

3) PPC Campaigns – A pay per click campaign is always a great way to drive traffic to your website, and potentially generate leads, but what keywords should be used? When working with a niche market such as a condo buyers and sellers, you can bid on the most relevant keywords and make sure you are bringing in clients need your services. A condo website with WebsiteBox is the perfect tool to combine with a PPC campaign, by not only being able to condense your keyword bidding, but also making sure that those who land on your site are visitors who are actually looking for what you offer, and increase your chance at creating a valuable lead.

Here is a great example:

John Smith of Austin Texas is an expert in Travis Country Condos, especially the ABC and XYZ condos. He spends $100 a month of keyword specific searches for those condos such as:

  • ABC condos Austin
  • ABC 2 BR condos
  • ABC available condos

Since these keywords are not competitive, John can advertise for 10 cents per click and get highly targeted leads as a result. John will also not require as many keywords, as he is covering a much smaller topic than general realty.

4) Selling a Lifestyle – Creating a website just for the condo market is a lot different from creating a general real estate website. It allows you the chance to really create an atmosphere that revolves around the condo way of life. A customer who is considering a condo may need that extra push, why not use this tool to give them that push? Placing content on the site that is relevant to condos like: Why should I buy a Condo? What makes a Condo Better? What is Condo life like? can convince potential clients that you are the right agent to call for buying or selling a condo.
