To be an agent that your clients take seriously, you need to learn from others’ mistakes. Avoid these classic blunders when listing a home.

Selling using only traditional methods

Passing out flyers is great, but you won't get very many people looking at your listing.

Having a non-functional website

Here’s how you can tell if your website isn’t functional:

  1. When you click on a link, it doesn’t take you to where you want to go.
  2. You have outdated information. That’s great that you have three listings available; not so great that they're from 2009.
  3. Your website looks like this:

Not making necessary changes to the house

Taking (and displaying) bad photos
