Graph Search Reveals Composite Facebook Profile of Agents

Yesterday, we explored how Facebook's newly announced Graph Search will affect real estate marketing. Today, our friends at Point2 demonstrated the power of the information you can uncover with Graph Search.

They used Graph Search to find what books, movies, politicians, restaurants, and more that real estate agents like (e.g. "What movies do real estate agents like?"). They took all this data and created a fascinating composite Facebook profile of all real estate agents (or at least those whose likes are public), broken down by gender.

What do agents like? Both men and women rate "The Hangover" as their favorite movie, but the sexes have differences when it comes to music. (Women tune into country; men have more diverse tastes.) Agents tend to vote Republican, though Barack Obama rates higher among men.
