Why Real Estate Bloggers Should Look At Triberr

February 05 2015

lwolf triberr blogHave you heard of Triberr? This social networking site for bloggers has become quite popular among people who want to expand the visibility of content they publish on their blogs.

When people learn how to use Triberr, they often love it, but for the new user, this social networking site can often be overwhelming and may not always be clear how to best utilize the opportunities that Triberr provides you with.

How does Triberr work?

If you have a blog and a Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn account, this social network is a tool that you should become familiar with. This purpose of the site is for users to connect with other bloggers in different communities (or "tribes"). When a tribe's member writes a post on their blog, Triberr pulls the blog feed in and makes it easy for other members to read the post and share it on other social networks.

The benefits of this are two-fold.

First, more people get to see your blog posts. Your blog posts get in front of members of your tribe, and provides the opportunity for them to read your content. If they find your content useful, they have the opportunity to share it on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.

Second, it provides you with more quality content to share with your own followers on social networks. Sharing relevant and quality content is especially important when you want to position yourself as an expert in the real estate industry.

Five tips to help you get started on Triberr

  1. There are currently a handful of real estate tribes that you can join. Familiarize yourself with the content that the members of each tribe write and see if it would complement your own content before joining.

  2. Join multiple tribes. Some tribes have higher engagement than others, so even if you join two or three real estate tribes, you may find that one of the tribes works better for you than the other tribes. You can always leave a tribe if you find that the content that the tribe is creating or sharing isn't complementary of yours.

  3. Along with joining real estate tribes, consider joining (or creating) a geographical tribe for your area. This can be highly beneficial if you want to build relationships with other businesses or bloggers in your area, or if your blog posts are more related specifically to your geographical area than general real estate content.

  4. Adjust your stream and social network settings in Triberr. You can select how frequently you want Triberr to send an article you want to share to one of your social networks (this ranges from every 15 minutes to once every 24 hours). You can also select which social networks each tribe should share with – for example, if there's a tribe that produced content that you only ever want to share on LinkedIn (and not on Facebook or Twitter), you can easily set this up.

  5. Don't automatically share everything that appears in the tribes that you belong to. Share the content that you know will be beneficial to your followers. Remember that this isn't meant to replace how you would typically use your social networks, but instead it's meant to supplement it – if you only share articles from Triberr, it can come across as spammy and may alienate your followers.

Triberr can be a great tool to promote your blog content on your social networks, as well as providing you with more quality content to share with your own followers. Have you started using it yet?
