Local Matter’s Traffic Director provides a traffic acquisition and distributing web service to Real Estate brokers and MLS providers. Primarily, this web service generates leads, through sending online traffic to destination pages (similar to web pages). This service allows publishers to drive traffic towards customer listings. Brokers or MLS providers are able to build search-engine friendly business profile pages and turn around and promote these pages with paid search campaigns and organic traffic management.
There are three primary features of this product: destination pages, traffic optimizer and paid search manager.
The destination pages are available in either single-listing layout, which acts as a mini website for the advertiser, or multiple-listing layout, where listings are displayed together like a search results page. These pages offer the viewer information such as business name, address, phone number, directions, products and services, assurances, hours of operation, coupons or menus, pictures of the business, videos and more.
The traffic optimizer directs traffic to the listings. It keeps track of the traffic to each advertiser listing, to see if it is paid search engine traffic, natural search engine traffic or traffic from the directory site itself. Traffic Director stores the traffic targets in each advertiser’s click package and the actual traffic each advertiser’s page has received.
The paid search manager allows publishers to establish and manage paid search campaigns for three major search engines in one user-friendly dashboard. The system provides a single interface which sets up paid search campaigns, controls keyword bids, determines budgets, and pauses and starts keywords to thousands of advertiser details pages.
