Delta Media Group Is First to Launch (AMP) Accelerated Mobile Pages to the Real Estate Industry
(AMP) Accelerated Mobile Pages is a relatively new platform to help companies improve the speed and readability of their mobile content. AMP web pages are proving to be at least 85% faster than traditional mobile pages. This greatly enhances the consumer experience when browsing for homes on their mobile devices. We know that Google is constantly making improvements and updates to how they serve up search results on their platform. As more and more consumers are searching and browsing the internet on their mobile phones, it is only natural that the next step is to enhance the mobile browsing experience. The new Google AMP project does just that. According to Google, 53% of website visits on mobile devices are abandoned if it takes more than three seconds to load. Three seconds, REALLY? Consumers are living in a world of instant gratification now that we all carry phones that can provide information on any and all things right in our pocket. Real Estate is already a highly competitive industry. Agents and brokers are competing with large portals, other local brokerages, and even amongst themselves within their office environments. You need every advantage you can get, and the best option is to partner with a marketing technology company that is pushing the technology envelope and watching the trends and changes that will provide you with every competitive advantage. "At Delta Media Group our team is constantly studying new technology trends and implementing them on our platform to keep our clients on the cutting edge of innovation. The new AMP pages will position our clients with an advantage when Google rolls out their new upcoming mobile-friendly algorithm. SEO is a constantly changing landscape that we work hard to stay abreast of and implement changes on behalf of our broker clients," says Michael Minard, President of Delta Media Group. Why is this important to you? Significantly faster loading pages for mobile users Improved user experience Better search visibility within search results Better readability The NEW AMP pages launched on December 10, 2018 for all Delta Media Group Digital Marketing clients. More Knowledge = More Power with New KickFire Analytics
We hope you kept busy this summer, closed plenty of sales, and found some time to relax, because here at Homes.com, we've had a great summer. Besides adding huge upgrades to our Homes.com agent and broker websites, working on publishing our first book (coming 9/12!), and working on optimizing your dashboard so you can quickly and easily make changes to your account, last month we announced an upgrade to our agent and broker website analytics program. Details about this exciting upgrade are given below! To find your website analytics, log in to your dashboard, click the "Apps" menu, select the Business Intelligence section, then click on the link titled "KickFire." From here you can access and review the reports available for your website. The traffic source infographic shows how many of your visitors came to your site by typing in the domain, performing a search engine query, or clicking on a link from a different website (a referral link). You'll also see the total number of visitors. Clicking on the "active visitors" button will display which page each visitor is on as well as how they came to your website. You can also click on an individual visitor to track the path they have taken through your site and receive real time updates. To open a separate window with the same tracking capabilities, simply click on the Statcaster. This will allow you to review your active visitors while working on other projects. You can also create email alerts that are triggered when certain conditions are met. For example, an alert could be set to notify you when a certain page is visited, like a featured search page. Once you've received the email notifying you of the activity, just log in and review where the current visitor is and what pages they've already visited. You can find the bulk of your reporting under the "Website Summary" section. Here you can get the full breakdown of the different aspects of your website. Want to get in on the fun? Get a free Homes.com account at profile.homes.com, call us at (888) 651-8956, or email us at [email protected] to learn how our great marketing, advertising, and business solutions (like our easy-to-use websites with KickFire reporting) can help agents and brokers like you win and convert more sales.
