Getting Into the Thick of It – Prepare For the Busy Season and Close More Deals

With better organization comes more productivity which leads to more closed deals. Disorganization when things get busy will take time away from closing deals. Here are five ways you can become more in control and improve your organization skills.

1. Manage your active business: Use a solution that will assist you with organizing your listings and the buyers and sellers you are currently working with. It is important to maintain contact and build relationships with your past, current and future clients.

2. Reminders and to-dos: What is going on? You can schedule, plan, organize and set reminders on all tasks. With a software program in place, you can schedule your appointments, follow ups and set up notifications on what to do and when you need to do it.

3. Calendar and tasks: Create specific calendars for each part of your life. Work, Personal, Clients, Kids, etc. By using a colour coding calendar, this will help you identify your appointments and events at a glance. Manage a task list. Ensure you are checking them off as they are completed. If you are feeling overwhelmed, you can look at your task list to see how much you have accomplished.

4. File management: Manage and organize all your files and paperwork. It's easy for things to fall through the cracks, especially when it comes to closing deals and all the paperwork that comes with it. By keeping all your files in one place, they will be easily accessible on the go. It is also important to track what paperwork has been submitted and what is still outstanding.

5. Drip marketing plans: The best way to keep in touch with everyone in your contact database is to create drip marketingcampaigns. Email is cost effective and takes up very little of your time. With automated drip marketing campaigns designed for different types of contacts, you can drip out at various times. This helps keep you stay organized and be efficient.
