Great Tulsa Association of Realtors Parnters With Trulia to Enhance Accuracy and Lead Quality for Brokers

July 10 2014

SAN FRANCISCO, July 10th, 2014Trulia, a leading online marketplace for home buyers, sellers, renters, and real estate professionals has signed an agreement with the Greater Tulsa Association of REALTORS® (GTAR) to enhance data quality and provide valuable exposure for its members. GTAR is the largest REALTOR® association in Oklahoma, servicing more than 3,400 members throughout the state.

As part of the agreement, brokers will get near real-time data with listings refreshed as often as every 8 minutes, as well as participation in the Trulia Direct Reference program. Trulia Direct Reference identifies and corrects bad data from non-MLS connected sources and automatically reports any discrepancies in the data to the MLS, broker and listing agent. This gives the agent the ability to correct inaccurate information at the source, providing additional safeguards for fresh, accurate listings.

"We have partnered with Trulia to help our brokers maximize exposure for their listings while ensuring the highest level of protection for their data," said Mike Cotrill, CEO of the Greater Tulsa Association of REALTORS ®. "We support the broker's choice in deciding how to best market homes for their clients, and providing Trulia as an option makes a lot of sense. Trulia's industry friendly publishing practices and willingness to collaborate on data security makes partnering with them an easy decision. Trulia is an ideal partner to help our brokers market their listings to active home buyers and sellers."

"We look forward to working with the Greater Tulsa Association of REALTORS to provide up-to-date listing information to Trulia's 51 million monthly unique visitors. Accurate listing information not only provides a great experience for home buyers and sellers, but also protects the broker's brand and generates the most value for agents and brokers," said Alon Chaver, Vice President of Industry Services, Trulia. "That's why we continue to invest in our data processing framework and partner with the real estate industry to deliver accurate data for the benefit of our customers and partners."
