Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS® is Live the ShowingTime Appointment Center and Online Scheduling, While Four Additional MLSs Add Online Scheduling for Members

March 03 2014

Chicago, IL – March 3, 2014ShowingTime, the real estate industry's leading showing management technology provider, announced today that the Wilmington Regional Association Of REALTORS® (WRAR) is live with the ShowingTime Appointment Center and online scheduling for its 1,500 members, while four additional MLSs totaling more than 18,000 members have added ShowingTime's online scheduling system to help members manage showings directly through the MLS.

WRAR members call the Appointment Center from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST seven days a week, the longest open hours of any showing appointment center in the real estate industry, and also login to the MLS anytime to schedule showings. The Appointment Center includes dedicated appointment center staff to fully confirm showings on behalf of listing agents and offices. It also features branded phone calls, as if the appointment center staff is in the subscriber's office.

"I am super impressed by your staff," said Jerry Panz, CEO of WRAR. "I have never, in the 30 years in this business, seen any venture move this quickly. The Appointment Center's extended hours, 2-way text messaging, branded calls and emails, and overall use of technology to automate the scheduling process is wonderful."

The other four MLSs – Dayton MLS with 3,000 members; Hudson-Gateway MLS with 9,000 members; Sussex County MLS with 1,500 members; and CRIS MLS with 5,000 members – are now providing members with 24/7 online scheduling. They, along with WRAR members, can also use their smartphones or tablets to request and manage showings and feedback.

ShowingTime products are currently used in more than 50,000 real estate offices comprised of 400,000+ real estate professionals to schedule more than 2 million showings per month. Its technology streamlines the appointment scheduling process, resulting in quicker showing confirmations and less phone tag.

Listing agents can post showing instructions and enter available hours on an interactive calendar to indicate when a listing can be shown. When a showing agent submits a request, notifications are sent instantly according to the listing agent's preferences. A listing can be set up a variety of ways depending on whether it's occupied or vacant.

"We are thrilled to have these MLSs and Associations partner with us to better equip their members," said ShowingTime President Michael Lane. "We're able to add measurable efficiencies to the appointment scheduling process. Members have access to a ShowingCart, mapping, and enhanced notifications, which include patented 2-way text messaging so agents can confirm, decline or reschedule appointments from their smartphones when they can't take a call. Some also will have access to customizable feedback, which enables sellers to view their own listing activity report," he added.

Hundreds of offices in these markets also use ShowingDesk, ShowingTime's web-enabled front desk software. Showing requests made via the MLS download into a "Task List" to facilitate prompt follow-up by office staff. ShowingDesk is the industry's most popular front desk software for managing showings.
