ShowingTime Signs New Licensing Agreements with Eight More MLSs

January 27 2016

Chicago, IL – January 27, 2016 — ShowingTime, the real estate industry's leading showing management technology provider, announced today it signed eight more MLS-wide licensing agreements to provide online showing management and feedback services to 40,000 real estate professionals, while two existing MLS customers with an aggregate of 18,700 members upgraded their services.

The new agreements include Arizona Regional MLS in Tempe, AZ; North Alabama MLS in Huntsville, AL; Tallahassee Board of Realtors® in Tallahassee, FL; Central New York Information Services in Syracuse, NY; Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors® in St. Joseph, MI; St. Augustine and St. Johns County Board of Realtors® in St. Augustine, FL; Northwest Minnesota Association of Realtors® in Bemidji, MN; and Lakes Country Association of Realtors® in Detroit Lakes, MN. The existing customers adding upgrades include Realcomp in Farmington Hills, MI, and RealtyWeb (formerly Northeast Florida MLS) in Jacksonville, FL.

"Having mobile access is critical for both realtors and their sellers," said Realcomp CEO Karen Kage. "Getting push notifications so showing requests are never missed, having the ability to message each other and managing everything from mobile devices is important to our MLS subscribers. We've had a relationship with ShowingTime for many years, and adding these upgrades was a logical next step for us," she added.

ShowingTime for the MLS – licensed by more than 100 MLSs – uses patented technology to streamline the appointment scheduling process, resulting in quicker showing confirmations and less phone tag. In November, ShowingTime added a messaging feature for its more than 700,000 subscribers, enabling agents to chat with each other about showings in real time. The free enhancement gives showing and listing agents tools to communicate instantly from their mobile devices while in the field. With 1.2 million listings subscribed to its scheduling services, messaging has had an immediate impact on hundreds of thousands of agents.

"We are pleased to be working with these new and existing customers to equip their members with the latest technology," said ShowingTime President Michael Lane. "We add measurable efficiencies to the appointment scheduling process, and equip agents with the means to automatically notify sellers when they're running late or early to a showing, or when the showing is completed so they can return home. Everyone involved in the process benefits," he added.

ShowingTime for the MLS enables agents to use the ShowingTime Mobile App to schedule showings, review existing appointments, get push notifications, access driving directions and/or view showing instructions, all while in the field. The app can also be used by sellers to keep them informed of all activity, and to enable them to confirm requests when needed. As a result, no showing opportunity is ever missed.
