Rapattoni Releases MLS Listing Syndication Manager

May 10 2015

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., May 8, 2015 – Rapattoni Corporation (Rapattoni) announced today that the new Rapattoni MLS Listing Syndication Manager launched on May 7, 2015. This important new component was released as a free update for all Rapattoni MLS customers, allowing MLSs to easily set up listing syndication feeds for third-party services such as Zillow and Trulia from within the MLS.

Rapattoni MLS provides an intuitive and graphically pleasing user interface which operates natively on PCs and Mac® computers as well as mobile devices. The new Listing Syndication Manager leverages Rapattoni's state-of-the-art RETS 1.7.2 servers to deliver listing data via standard RETS pulls while providing MLS staff with a simple interface for quickly setting up and managing syndication services. The feature also includes a separate module that lets brokers and office managers opt in or opt out of individual syndication services, and an additional interface allows agents and other MLS members to review which feeds their offices have opted into.

For syndication feeds that require an end-user license agreement (EULA), MLS staff can set up agreement files within the Listing Syndication Manager that office staff must then accept when opting into the service, with all acceptance data stored in history. MLS staff can also generate reports showing opt-in status and EULA acceptance info for all offices within an individual syndication feed.

"Our new Listing Syndication Manager makes setting up listing feeds easier than ever for MLS staff while empowering brokers and office managers to take control of their listing data," said Destyn Dagle, Director of MLS & IWS Software at Rapattoni. "With options for configuring default opt-in status and custom license agreements, the new system is flexible enough to meet the needs of our MLS customers as well as their syndication partners."

Madeleine Talbot-Leighton, Product Manager at Rapattoni, added, "Our customers have recently expressed a great deal of interest in various syndication services and our new Listing Syndication Manager will allow them to send their listings to more third-party sites than ever before, ensuring that the public will find accurate listing data no matter which sites they check. We consider this an essential resource for all of our MLS customers and we're pleased to make it available to them free of charge as a core component of the Rapattoni MLS."
