Homesnap Introduces “How Am I Connected?” Feature

Bethesda, Md. – March 4, 2015 — Homesnap has just launched a new feature in its agent-only app that lets real estate agents know exactly how they are connected to other agents, revealing for the first time the vast network of relationships that are created in the real estate profession. Homesnap Pro's "How Am I Connected?" feature uncovers over 2.2 billion transactional relationships, creating an unprecedented social and professional graph which agents can now access.

"More than any other industry, real estate is about relationships," said Guy Wolcott, CEO and Co-Founder of Homesnap. "These countless relationships reside in MLS databases, but they have never been surfaced and organized in a way that is easily accessible to agents. Our 'How Am I Connected?' feature does just that, giving agents valuable relationship information right from their phones."

Homesnap automatically records a connection between the participating agents in a closed transaction. For any agent in the MLS, users may then see: 1) if they have done a deal together before; 2) if someone in their office is connected with that agent; 3) if they are connected to someone in that agent's office; or 4) if they are both connected to a mutual agent. "How Am I Connected?" provides all of these options to make it as easy as possible for agents to see how they are connected.

Homesnap Pro gives agents the ability to access real-time MLS information from their mobile phones and tablets.
