Top 15 Best Android Apps for Real Estate Agents and Brokers

Enough about iPhones... at least for the moment.  One of the largest growing market shares in the mobile industry is Android.  "There's an app for that" rings true for Android also. 

For real estate professionals, looking for helpful Android mobile applications to help drive their business, we stumbled upon a great article from Tech Savvy Agent's blog.  Guest writer Tucker Wannamaker of The Springs Real Estate Network highlighted fifteen of the best Android real estate apps. 

His list included:

1.  Suburb Scout - This app allows real estate agents and brokers to search for sewage plants, airports, nuclear plants, landfills and prisons near neighborhoods
2.  SmarterAgent - This app shows homes for sale and apartments for rent; including prices, maps, photos and more
3.  Google Voice - Place calls and send text messages showing your Google number
4.  Remember the Milk - Add and complete tasks on the go, organize upcoming tasks, get alerted to nearby task locations
5.  iHandy Carpenter - #1 utility app in iPhone app store
6.  Google Maps -  This app is a free navigation tool, allowing agents and brokers to find their location and navigate to new locations via turn-by-turn GPS instructions
7.  Where - Discover local restaurants, closeby movies, weather, news, coupons and offers, cheap gas, friends and more
8.  Zillow - This app gives you Zestimate® home values, local real estate including homes for sale, rentals, and more
9.  Real Estate Dictionary of Terms - Dictionary of Real Estate Terms provides a convenient and user-friendly reference tool
10.  Karl's Mortgage Calculator - This app aloows the agent or broker to calculate mortgage payments given principal, interest & term.
11.  Evernote - This app helps you remember and recall anything that happens in your life. From notes to ideas to snapshots to recordings, put everything into Evernote.
12.  Dropbox - This app allows agents and brokers to share links to files, save photos and video from your camera to your computers, and open files
13.  Safe Neighborhood - Search by your address or current location(US Only) to see if any sex offenders are registered in the area
14.  Hotpads - This app is a map-based housing search using GPS location or address to search apartments, rental houses, real estate, vacation rentals and hotels
