Leading RE Makes it Rain Awards
  A couple of weeks ago we attended the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World's (LRE) Annual Conference in Vegas. It was a remarkable lineup with a lot of valuable takeaways. LRE is made up of an incredible list of over 600 top real estate companies. Our network aligns very closely with theirs. We both work only with independent brokerages. Additionally, we restrict that to only allow one member per market. It is therefore no surprise that the majority of our members also belong to LRE. We typically host a party to celebrate with our existing members as well as potential ones who are attending the conference. This year our party was at La Cave and was a great success. Potential members had the chance to meet us and a small representation of our team, as well as discuss our platform and its benefits with our existing members. Our party is early in the week, giving ourselves the best chance for a good turnout (given this is Vegas after all and the week is like a marathon). Little did we know our network had a lot more to celebrate than we knew... LRE hosts an awards ceremony every year to close the week. They nominate four candidates per category.   (Toronto) Jan. 30, 2015 -- With one-in-four homebuyers checking out real estate websites with a smartphone or a tablet, it is imperative that agents ensure that their professional websites show well on mobile devices, according to Peyman Aleagha, CEO of WebsiteBox, the technology company that provides real estate professionals with complete websites for a one-time $99 fee. After a National Association of REALTORS/Google Digital House Hunt study indicated that 89 percent of homebuyers use mobile search, WebsiteBox compiled its own research to help agents understand why a mobile-friendly -- also known as "responsive" -- website is so important. According to WebsiteBox-derived data, the three mobile platforms most often used for property searches are, in order of preference: Apple's iPhone and iPad, and Samsung's Galaxy smartphones. And just where are the most tech-forward house hunters? California, Florida, Texas, George and New York, according to the WebsiteBox research. Homebuyers in Arkansas, Iowa, Delaware, Idaho and Mississippi are least likely to use mobile search. This week Delta released an update which helps agents market themselves and their successes as a REALTOR®.  We have upgraded the 'Solds' system, allowing for easy customization, promotion and segmentation of your sold properties. Agents can now have more control and options for marketing sold properties. Our update allows you to easily change the sold listings page template and change the default layout from three columns to one columns, providing additional flexibility based on your preferences. A one column layout allows agent providing additional content for customers on each sold property. Agents can also easily add a custom description under each Sold Property that show as "Agent Comments." The Sold Properties page template was also enhanced aesthetically, allowing for customized banners for each sold listing. Agents can also now enter keywords for a solds page and sold listing, creating segments for your sold properties.  The keywords will filter sold listings with the keywords entered on your 'Custom Solds' pages.  Examples of keyword filter types might include all properties sold, cities, neighborhoods solds, specific markets, homes for families commercial, or whatever categories work best for your targeted buyer types.
