CubiCasa Surpasses Key Milestone with Floor Plans Included on 15% of New Listings in the US
Volume of CubiCasa Floor Plans in U.S. Real Estate Nearly Triples Year-over-Year SAN JOSE, CA - April 3, 2024 — CubiCasa, the global leader of interior property data mapping through simple smartphone scanning, today announced significant new milestones in its mission to evolve the U.S. real estate market by including floor plans on every property listing. More than 15% of new listings in the U.S. now include a CubiCasa floor plan, a mark that is more than 700% higher than the 2% mark they recorded just two years ago when the company's mission was in its infancy. Additionally, the number of CubiCasa scans performed for U.S. real estate customers in 2024 is nearly triple the rate it was during the same period a year ago. This growth underscores the increasing recognition and adoption of floor plans as a crucial digital asset in U.S. real estate listings, leading to more informed home shoppers. The same way that home searchers are accustomed to viewing a geographic map to understand a home's neighborhood, U.S home searchers are starting to expect to see a home's indoor map as well. "Floor plans are the single-best digital asset on a real estate listing because they provide consumers with a clear understanding of whether the home is the right fit for them," said Jeff Allen, President of CubiCasa. "In many other countries - such as Australia and the UK - floor plans are already a standard. Our mission is to make that happen in the U.S. so we can create a better consumer search and home buying experience. We won't stop pushing until we get there." Powering this growth is the CubiCasa app's ease of use, which is leading to scaled adoption for Real Estate Photographers, Real Estate Agents and Home Inspectors around the world. Additionally, the rapidly growing CubiCasa Preferred Photographer Program, now with more than 1,300 active photographers, and CubiCasa MLS Partnership Program, featuring more than 50 participating MLSs, are bringing in valuable adoption partners that are adding to the mission's success. Katie Ward of Simply Home Photos, serving Georgia and Tennessee, said: "Since joining the Preferred Photographers Program, we've gained a competitive edge and it has helped us stand out among other photographers in our area. Our team loves how easy it is to quickly open the app and scan an entire home in 5 minutes or less. Using CubiCasa has made our workflow much quicker and easier." Kim Mixon, a real estate agent with Keller Williams River Cities in Columbus, GA, added: "I have been using CubiCasa for my real estate business for the past two years, and it has been a game-changer. The floor plan scans they provide have become a baseline feature of what we offer to all our listing clients. The accuracy and ease of use of the CubiCasa app have been exceptional, and our clients love the added value it brings to their listings." CubiCasa's goal is not just to provide floor plans but to revolutionize the real estate industry by making floor plans a standard feature on every listing. This approach benefits both consumers and real estate professionals, leading to a more informed and efficient housing market. CubiCasa's user-friendly floor plan scanning app is readily available for download from the App Store and Google Play Store. To learn more about CubiCasa, visit https://www.cubi.casa/. Matterport Launches Property Intelligence: Transforming Real Estate and Property Management with AI and Automation
Leveraging years of innovation in spatial data and AI, Matterport's new suite of AI-powered features revolutionizes property analytics, enhancing Marketing, Design, Construction, and Facilities Management solutions. SUNNYVALE, Calif. Feb 15 — Matterport, Inc. is today launching Property Intelligence, a collection of AI-powered features that provides customers with access to automated measurements, layouts, editing, and reporting capabilities generated from a Matterport digital twin of their property. The result of years of advancements in spatial data, computer vision, and deep learning, Property Intelligence unlocks information and data about a property that has never been so easily available thanks to the power of automation and AI at Matterport. These new features bolster the company's Property Marketing, Design and Construction, and Facilities Management solutions for automating key elements of home listings, construction projects, and factory floor operations. "Since day one, our mission has been to fundamentally transform how people understand and access the built world. Our 3D digital twin technology set the industry standard for the virtual tour, and now we're delivering unprecedented information and customization capabilities to our customers for any type of property anywhere in the world," said RJ Pittman, Chairman and CEO, Matterport. "Across the globe, Matterport serves nearly one billion virtual tours each year to let people walk through their potential dream home, manage a chain of retail stores, or operate their manufacturing facilities remotely. Our advancements in AI, automation, and property insights save our customers valuable time and help them make smarter decisions for their businesses and better serve their clients." As part of Matterport's Winter 2024 Release: Automating the Future, the company is introducing a series of new Showcase plugins that streamline property navigation and expert connections for users. Compass and Minimap plugins help visitors intuitively navigate large spaces with new visual cues, while the new Business Card and Quick Link plugins provide key contact details and additional property information inside the digital twin experience. Real estate agents can brand virtual tours, while property and facility managers can insert key information in the form of a card anywhere in the virtual space, including operations manuals, restaurant menus, reservation pages, and more. To better serve real estate agents and property marketers, Matterport has upgraded its RICS-standard schematic floor plans with options such as color floor plans, branding, multiple languages, and the ability to add or remove furniture. These new floor plans help agents attract qualified buyers while saving time by reducing site visits. Announced in beta last December, the Matterport CAD file add-on is now available, which converts Matterport digital twin point clouds into editable CAD drawings for any space in several formats, including DWG and DXF files. This add-on introduces a powerful CAD file export feature, offering construction and design teams a seamless solution to the traditionally labor-intensive tasks of documenting existing conditions and manually tracing files. The CAD file add-on streamlines the process of as-built documentation and speeds up project timelines. Matterport is also sharing a preview of Project Genesis, the company's upcoming generative AI release that leverages the organization's experience in machine learning and AI to automatically reimagine and redesign a space within the digital twin. Initially, customers will be able to de-furnish an entire space, remove items from the property, or clean out the clutter. Next, customers will be able to reimagine an entire property with AI-generated interior design styles and furnishings. Project Genesis, leading the transformation of the digital twin and built world itself, is slated to enter its first beta with select customers later this year. Matterport launches beta program for automated room measurements, layouts, and reporting to drastically reduce manual efforts -- empowering customers with actionable property insights SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 26, 2023 -- Matterport, Inc. (Nasdaq: MTTR) introduces the next generation of intelligent digital twins with powerful new capabilities fueled by the company's rapid advancements in AI and data science. Now in beta, customers can access automated measurements, layouts, editing, and reporting capabilities generated from their digital twins. Automation marks a significant breakthrough, saving customers time by eliminating the need for manual measurements and reporting by automatically processing the millions of 3D data points captured with a Matterport digital twin. Accurate room-by-room measurements are one of the most common and time-consuming requests from buyers to understand whether a property suits their needs. Now, customers can automatically generate 2D and 3D layouts that identify and label the details of a property including walls, the type of room, length and width, and total square footage. These details allow a buyer to quickly assess a property, while enabling property marketers to accelerate home listings and sales with instant at-a-glance property overviews and Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data. New customization capabilities allow property managers to edit layouts to optimize the functionality of a space or surface details that guide the development, renovation or remodeling of interior and exterior spaces. "I'm excited to see the progression of our digital twins helping customers put AI and automation to practical use for their properties," said RJ PIttman, Chairman and CEO of Matterport. "Instant access to room dimensions, total square footage by room, floor, and the entire space, builds upon one of our most popular features - Measurement Mode. With our new intelligent digital twins, our customers get hundreds of useful measurements, room names, print-ready layouts and more - automatically. With these new 'power tools' we're driving customer productivity through the roof!" Matterport's new AI-powered capabilities are made possible through the company's technical leadership in spatial data, computer vision, and deep learning. Cortex, the company's AI-engine, brings it all together to create thousands of digital twins every day, trained with Matterport's massive spatial data library. At more than 33 billion square feet of spaces in the real world digitized, Cortex will continue to learn, grow, and define the future of the digital twin for years to come. Zillow 3D Home tours now are automatically shared to Redfin
Integration provides immersive virtual tour experience regardless of platform SEATTLE, May 12, 2022 -- Zillow 3D Home tours and interactive floor plans are now automatically shared to Redfin. Real estate agents now have the ability to quickly upgrade all their listings with best-in-class immersive virtual tours across platforms, allowing home shoppers on both sites to explore their targeted house with outstanding clarity. "Zillow's goal is to give agents the best tools to allow home buyers the power to visualize themselves in a new place, regardless of what site they choose to browse with," said Josh Weisberg, VP of Zillow's Rich Media Experience team. "Customers have dramatically raised their expectations for a virtual home shopping experience over the past two years. This technology allows agents and photographers to meet those expectations with a seamless, immersive tour experience that is easily made and shared." Previously, agents needed to manually enter a 3D Home link in order for their listings to appear on Redfin. Now, Zillow will automatically syndicate agents' 3D Home tours to listings on Redfin, and will include an option to opt out if desired. Additional automatic syndications to more real estate websites and MLSs are coming soon. 3D Home tours benefit customers, agents, photographers Zillow's free-to-build tours combine ultra-clear, 360-degree views with easy navigation and interactive floor plans that show shoppers where they are in the house, the camera's direction and perspective, and the room's dimensions. In today's fast-paced real estate market — where listings linger a median of just nine days before going pending — house hunters need to be able to efficiently evaluate homes and decide where to focus their energy. Using virtual tours, customers can quickly winnow their options and gain a leg up on the competition. "My job is to make homes stand out — to build excitement about my listing and generate the best possible offer for my sellers," said Georgia Stevens, managing broker at Compass and past president of Seattle King County Realtors. "The agent with the best tools wins, and Zillow's tools make it so easy to navigate the floor plan, understand exactly what you're looking at and imagine how you'd live in that home. Perspective is everything. This is what makes a buyer call their agent and say, 'This is the home I want to see.'" Zillow's 3D Home tour provides agents a cost-effective way to showcase listings and generate more leads, while photographers benefit from additional opportunities to capture listings content. Homes on Zillow that included 3D Home tours saw improved performance compared to those without, earning 81% more views and being saved by buyers 53% more often. About Zillow Group Zillow Group, Inc. Immoviewer Now Creates Floor Plans From Your 360° Photos
Launching today, you can now create floor plans using just the images in your immoviewer tours. Berlin, Germany - January 30, 2018 - Today, immoviewer is launching a new service – floor plan creation. The service, which has been in beta for several months, allows immoviewer subscribers to generate dimensionally accurate floor plans using just the 360° images from their immoviewer tours. There is not measuring of rooms required. "When I saw the first floor plan generated from just the photos in our tours, it felt a bit like magic," says Jeff Turner, CEO North America for immoviewer. "But it's not magic as much as it is math. As long as we know the height of the lens from the floor, we can generate dimensionally accurate floor plans from 360° images. We are excited to finally be able to launch this service. We know our clients are going to love being able to turn their 360° cameras into a floor plan creation power tool." The immoviewer software platform is designed to accept images from any compatible 360° camera, and the app itself can create tours with just your mobile device as well. "We are truly camera agnostic in our approach," explains Steve Bintz, immoviewer Director of Sales. "Because our tours can be built using images from and 360° camera, we have had to test our software processes on this pretty extensively. We're thrilled with the results." Floor plans generated by immoviewer are automatically integrated into the tour from which they were created. The floor plans can also be downloaded for use in other marketing materials. "When we talked to our clients," Bintz added, "floor plans were consistently listed as a pain point. We've now created an easy button to do away with that pain." The service is launching today and is available to any immoviewer subscriber. About immoviewer, Inc. immoviewer is an international technology company providing fully interactive, virtual reality-compatible DIY 3D home tours with live 24/7 open house capability, floor plans and digital home staging. immoviewer's easy-to-use and affordable software solutions help real estate professionals create an outstanding real estate experience for buyers, sellers, and investors.

HomeDiary Plugs into MoxiWorks Power Strip
MoxiWorks adds HomeDiary as the newest member of their Cloud open platform December 3, 2017 – Seattle, WA – MoxiWorks recently partnered with FloorPlanOnline's HomeDiary service to offer HomeDiary PRO to MoxiWorks users. HomeDiary is a homeowner management platform that includes a free 3D space planner, as well as other tools to help create a digital record of the home. HomeDiary PRO helps REALTORS® stay connected to their client base throughout the whole homeownership lifecycle. Through the Moxi integration, PRO not only provides marketing tools for the listing side of the transaction, such as completely hands-free, automated single property websites and the free use of the advanced 3D floor plan engine, it also enables agents to stay relevant with their client base as they live in their home with the included HomeDiary sponsorship for an unlimited number of clients. The HomeDiary PRO system is extremely affordable - priced at less than the daily cost of a cup of coffee. "There has been a lot of discussion recently about staying in touch with your client base, or sphere of influence," says Mike McHenry, VP of Channels and Partnerships. "After all, it is somewhere between six to ten times more expensive to get a new client than keep an existing one. But tools have been lacking that create compelling reasons for homeowners to use and engage, as they are mostly singular or one-time use tools. This is where we see HomeDiary filling a vital gap for the agent and their clients." As a digital record of a home, HomeDiary is where homeowners can log projects, photos, improvements, and documents for easy reference to create a digital record of the home. HomeDiary's 2D and 3D space planner allows homeowners to draw a room or an entire floor plan if desired. They can plan furniture layouts, virtually change flooring, plan patio and landscaping ideas, and even play with paint color palettes. Homeowners can even experiment with what that open concept might look like, before they pick up a hammer. It enables any home to have a 3D floor plan visualizer, similar to what you see on those popular home improvement shows. "Our goal is to make documenting your home quick and easy, and to enable every home in America to have 3D floor plan, just like what you see on TV," said Kris Cone, CEO of HomeDiary. "Plus, the HomeDiary platform allows agents to leverage that great content created for the listing to be a useful asset for the buyer, just by claiming the home from the tour, something no other tour company can do." HomeDiary PRO helps agents provide a simple documentation tool to their client base and add another reason to reach out to their sphere. With all of the natural disasters lately, this is a big problem needing a solution. According to HomeDiary research, some 75% of homeowners have no system to document their home for insurance purposes. This creates an issue if disaster strikes. Homeowners are at risk of losing thousands of dollars in value if a fire, flood, hurricane or tornado strikes and there is no record of what was in the home. HomeDiary can help the homeowner reduce that risk in a fast and easy way. About MoxiWorks MoxiWorks is a residential brokerage services company that makes agents significantly more productive and brokerages more profitable by helping them effectively run their businesses. MoxiWorks' integrated tools are centered on a sphere-based selling process that drastically increases agents' repeat and referral business, while lowering overall technology, training and support costs for the brokerage. With MoxiWorks, brokerages are able to make their agents' lives simpler and their businesses more successful. More information at moxiworks.com. About HomeDiary Every HOME has a STORY to tell. Floorplanner Announces New and Improved Gallery Enhancements
Recently we temporarily removed our gallery of public floor plans as we had a few improvements in mind. As of today, we're happy to say that the gallery is now back and better than ever. With so many designs, we figured the best way to present the gallery was by dividing it into three different sections: Featured, Fresh and Published. Featured The featured section is much like the gallery we had before, featuring designs that we noticed and wanted to share with you. The floor plans you'll find in this section will give you a good idea of what Floorplanner is capable of, and a good look at what people are using the website for — from building their dream holiday home, to laying out a sculpture garden or even their new café. In any case, there's plenty of inspiration to be found in these projects, so please take a look. Fresh The fresh section of the gallery shows you all of designs that are being saved by our users right now — freshest designs first. Published Finally, we have the published section. This is where our all of our Plus and Pro users' published plans can be found for all the world to see. Many of the plans you'll see here are of houses that are being put up for sale or rent. So if like a design enough, there's a chance you could get the real thing We hope that you enjoy the new gallery, whether you just want to have a quick browse, or dig in a bit deeper for some inspiration (the best artists steal, after all).
