Do You See What I See?

WOW huhSo many agents are WOW'ed in a sales presentation of the things a product can do and like that the sales person says, "Everything will be set up for you." So agents buy the product, put it in place and wait for results.

This can be very dangerous. Most real estate products are set up with default content to show how you can personalize it. So your client might be getting a message that says: "This is where you add your personal message." Some marketing material may be set up geographically to where the product is produced so your clients may get an email on how to deal with freezing pipes this winter or the ocean surf report.

One of the best ways to know what your consumers are seeing is to always set yourself up as a client/prospect first. Test all the options that the product can create. This way you will be able to review all the communication to be sure it is correct, and you will know what content the product is sending to your contacts.

Save yourself the embarrassment of a consumer contacting you about an email they received and you don't know what it is or what it says.
