What's New at Realtors Property Resource® This Month?

RPR Releases Version 1.27

Since RPR's initial residential launch in September 2010, the RPR development team has been continually improving the RPR Application. These enhancements include not only additional products for specific industry segments of the REALTOR® family, such as Broker Tool Sets, the RPR Commercial Application, and Sale Comparison Analysis Tools for Appraisers, but also user suggested features, expanded data sets, and custom mapping and report enhancements. With the release of the latest version 1.27, RPR has successfully released thirty new system versions in three years.

The newest RPR release focuses on new functionality in the Commercial application. Lease information for properties and business points of interest are displayed on maps—plus pilot programs for a new report type and an AVM display module for Brokers. In addition, RPR has updated many of the demographic- and Census-based data sets displayed on Neighborhood and Trade Area details pages. These are used for Commercial analysis, mapping and other core functions. For more information, visit the RPR Help DeskRPR Help Desk.

With the release of Version 1.27, RPR is expanding access to the first of these two reports, as part of is Legislative and Economic Resources Initiative. RPR began working in early Q3 2013 with a Task Force comprised of NAR staff, as well as additional staff and volunteers from 38 state and local Associations, including Governmental and Political Affairs Directors, Association Executives and Federal Political Coordinators (FPCs).

This first "Federal Economic Area Report" will be available to members of RPR's Legislative Resources Task Force, and participants in the RPR Dashboard Beta testing in November 2013. The report is designed to support FPCs and Association staff with in-district meetings with their Congresspersons. The second "Economic Area Report" will be made available in December 2013 and will offer custom mapping to allow reports to be run for local, county and state elected officials. The mapping options will also include the ability for the users to select pre-determined geographies to run reports for State Legislative Districts.
