Top Producer IDX is a full-featured property search solution that allows agent to offer consumers access to the listings available from their MLS. Important features like Listing Notification, Save Listing to Favorites, and Save Search are all bundled with the service. Top Producer is a subsidiary of MOVE, INC and offers IDX in more than 235 markets. If they do not already have listings from your market, they will go get them for you.

Top Producer IDX automatically updates your website with the latest property information from your MLS, and offers visitors a password-protected section to save their favorite listings and searches. Top Producer' IDX’s prospecting tools, including PROPERTY ALERT LEAD and CAPTURE FORMS encourage visitors to enter their contact information and home criteria to receive automated updates and Listings Lead Capture Forms that encourage visitors to request property information and schedule appointments. The system’s lead tracking tools are designed to help the site owner to prioritize and strategically respond to their prospects.

Ease of Use

Top Producer IDX is very easy to use.  They have one of the most extensive support teams in the industry.  When you order IDX, they will perform all of the configuration for you and walk you through the delicate set up process to insure that it is nicely installed into your website. 

Key Features

Top Producer does not offer map search, but they do offer the option to view search results on the map.  This feature works well, but you need to select it in your configuration (or ask a representative to show you how to turn it on).

Top Producer has an agreement with OnBoard, one of the top providers of neighborhood and school information.  This information is integrated into each property record and included in the product without any extra fees.

Having a quick search on the home page is a good customer engagement tool, a feature that comes standard with this product.  Site owners can also customize their  property search solution to the cities or counties where they focus their business.  This is important when as a member of a large regional MLS where some listings are outside of the service area.

Listings and branding are always featured at the top of property results whenever a customer’s search criteria covers one of your listings.  They also include the ability to include open house information on your listings.  All listings are assigned custom URLs, so they can be launched as  unique listing websites at no additional cost.

This IDX solution includes a comprehensive back office platform that allows the owner to see contact information for registered customers, view their saved search criteria, view their featured listings, and modify customer information.

Conclusions

If you are a member of a small MLS, you may only have a few options for IDX.  Even if Top Producer is not a data provider in your area today, contact them and they will schedule data integration.  Their commitment to agents outweighs the economic impact of only having a customer or two in a given market.  If you are a Top Producer user today, having IDX from them will allow customers to be automatically added to your contact database when they register to your website.  The solution is only available as an iFrame, which is common among most IDX providers.   This product is one of the few that offers the ability for consumers to select up to four listings to get a side by side comparison that is viewable both on screen and printable.
