A Sneak Peek at the New RE/MAX Design Center Upgrade

February 24 2013

We recently had the opportunity to preview the new RE/MAX Design Center from Imprev. The Design Center's "digital upgrade" debuts this week at the RE/MAX R4 Convention in Las Vegas.

The upgrade makes the Design Center simpler to use. The topmost navigation bar lets agents easily access existing projects, the design gallery, marketing campaigns, and their client contacts. In the main navigation area, users can switch between recent designs or projects, favorite, featured, and those most popular among the agent community.

Design Center's most notable expansion, however, is the addition of three new products made to appeal to today's mobile-centric home buyer.

Video Based Home Tours

Imprev's new video creation interface makes it easy for even the most technophobic REALTORĀ® to create an attractive YouTube ready home tour in under an hour. A five step "road map" at the top of the interface shows users exactly where in the video creation process they are and what to expect next.

This wizard-like setup begins by having agents fill out basic information about their video. The next step is a slick drag-and-drop feature that lets users add photos to their video by simply dragging them from the photo library into the video timeline. Up to 30 photos can be added, cropped, and moved around in this step.

From there, agents can add text to the video, including their contact info and "highlights" for each photo. If writing snappy real estate copy isn't your thing, never fear--Imprev's handy Phrase Assistant can supply you with professionally crafted phrases that resonate with consumers.

During the final steps, agents can optionally add audio to their tour and choose their methods of distribution. With one click, videos can be emailed to contacts, uploaded to YouTube, or published to REALTOR.com.

Mobile Ready Single Property Websites

Once you have your attractive new property video ready, consider embedding it into a single property website. This new addition to Design Center can improve the SEO health of your agent website by providing links back, and can even be used as a tool to impress sellers and win listing presentations.

These single property websites are impressive, indeed. Designed with responsive layouts, these websites will automatically resize to fit any screen--mobile, tablet, or full-sized computer. They're even integrated with Google Maps, with street view available for consumers who would like to preview the neighborhood.

Content-rich Campaigns

Design Center's professionally written content goes well beyond Phrase Assistant. Their new marketing campaigns help you stay in touch with your sphere via email, postcard, and more. Each marketing piece is authored by award winning writers to ensure that your client communications are as engaging and compelling as possible.

Agents are able to target their messaging to specific client interests--first time homebuyers, investors, etc.--in order to make their campaigns even more relevant--and therefore valuable--to consumers.

Users can "set it and forget it," too. Imprev's campaigns can be fully automated as either interval based drip campaigns (messages sent every week, month, etc.) or date based campaigns sent on particular occasions, like holidays. If there are pre-written messages in a campaign that you'd rather not use, the interface makes it simple to turn those messages "off" (see below).

In Conclusion

The revamped Design Center is a potent tool for RE/MAX agents. Imprev's upgrades are technologically advanced but remain easy for agents to use. More importantly, they make it easy for consumers to engage with REALTORS via rich content and mobile friendly media.
