InstagramInstagram is a FREE photo-sharing social network that allows users to capture photographs with their mobile devices and share them with fellow Instagram users. With over 100 million users and counting, Instagram is an application that allows just about anyone to feel like a photographer. The speed in which you can snap a photo, edit and upload to Instagram along with various social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler, and Flickr) make this an attractive application.

The Instagram application is currently available on Apple and Android mobile devices. Creating an account is easy and free. All you need is a username and password. Instagram is a social network which means you can follow other user's photo streams and as they post them you can "like" and comment on their photos. Once you garner your own follower base, the photos you capture and upload to Instagram will appear in those user's feeds. To find new users, you can browse through the "explore" tab.

Snap a photo using Instagram or import existing photos on your mobile device. Once you have your photo, you can apply colour, texture, borders, blur and tilt-shift effects along with the option of several filters to enhance your image. Once you're ready to share your photo, click the green checkmark. Add an appropriate caption, tag fellow users and utilize hash tags to group your photos into a certain category.

Instagram is a great way to personalize your business and go beyond typical selling. Use Instagram to uniquely showcase the essence of your brand and connect more intimately with your audience. To get started find interesting ways to show off your logo or real estate signs, document the places you go when you are travelling for work, show a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of your office and find eye-catching ways to show off the properties you are selling.
