Embedding a Wufoo Form in Your ActiveRain Blog

February 13 2012

Embedding a Wufoo form in your ActiveRain blog is a great way to capture real estate leads from Craigslist.

The agent needs to capture the lead so they can deliver the information they promises in the ad.  By embedding a Wufoo form in your real estate blog, you can create a landing page that will capture leads from Craigslist, Facebook Ads, Google PPC, and other advertising sources.

Here is an example of a Wufoo form embedded in a real estate blog:

To embed a lead capture form in your ActiveRain blog

  1. Create your form in Wufoo.
  2. Write your blog post in ActiveRain using the WYSIWIG editor.  Include a text placeholder that says FORM to make it easy to sort through the html in step 5.  Save it as a draft.
  3. From the Form Manager tab in Wufoo, click the <>Code tab next to your form
  4. Select "Embed Form Code", and then copy the "iFrame Version" of text.
  5. Head back to ActiveRain and open your draft blog post, edit it using the HTML editor.
  6. Paste the code you copied from Wufoo over the FORM placeholder you typed earlier.
  7. Save the post as a draft to make sure everything works as planned.
