RPR Launches New Shortcuts Menu for Guided Tours

RPR offers REALTORS exclusive access to property data, tools and reports. Being proficient in RPR can improve your productivity and efficiency, which can really impress your clients and help you stand out from your competitors. As the slogan goes, with RPR, you will "wow" your clients and close more deals.

However, even though we continue to make RPR as user friendly and intuitive as possible, it is also very deep and quite detailed. And sometimes, even the most experienced users can get sidetracked. On the flip side, new users and beginners can also feel overwhelmed by all the data points and features available.

RPR has heard this type of feedback from our users and we've come up with a smart way to help guide you along.

Take a Guided Tour

We recently launched a new guided learning option on the RPR site we're calling the "shortcuts menu." We're offering up new ways to use the platform, while introducing powerful functions you might not be aware of.

Here's how it works: log in to RPR, and in the lower right hand corner, you notice a magenta-colored box that asks, "What do you want to do today?"

You'll be offered a menu with "tours" to help enhance your RPR experience. If you see a topic that interests you, just click on the tour. The menu served up is full of popular and most-used RPR features such as:

Residential Shortcuts

• Touring the RPR Maps
• Creating a Listing Presentation
• Creating a CMA
• Tracking Market Activity
• Create a Report

Commercial Shortcuts

• Search Properties
• Tour the RPR Map
• Find an Opportunity Zone
• Find the Best Customers
• Create an Investor Analysis
• Create a Report

After picking a path, you'll instantly be provided with step-by-step instructions on how to proceed.

These new "shortcut" walkthroughs are designed to help users get through a topic and help discover new features and tools. These links are a "hold you by the hand" string of pop-up boxes that offer guided tours to accomplish specific tasks.

Not Your Thing? Hit the Snooze Button

If you're focused on a particular task and you don't want to see the box, you can easily opt out. Users have the option to "Snooze" the alert for a week with just a click. However, it's not gone forever! You can easily bring the menu back. At the top of the homepage, next to your user name and the "Welcome" message, there's a magenta-colored beacon that allows the user to bring the menu back, if desired.

Please log in to RPR today (the website version) and try out this helpful new feature for yourself. All you have to do is go to the site and look for the greeting. Then choose a shortcut path and follow along.
