Neighborhood pages add keyword-rich content to your website, drawing in potential buyers and sellers and building your reputation as the neighborhood expert. Find out what to include in neighborhood pages below!
Before you start, decide which neighborhoods you want to include. Start by listing the neighborhoods you already do a fair amount of business in, then add the neighborhoods you would like to do business in.
The first thing your neighborhood pages should offer is a basic overview of the neighborhood. This could include things like amenities the community shares, the location of the neighborhood, or what schools residents are zoned for.
Include photos of places and activities that show off the neighborhood's desirability like the neighborhood sign, a playground, or views of the sunrise or sunset. Photos that highlight seasonal activities are also good additions. Neighborhood yard sales, kids trick or treating, and holiday lights all add a sense of community to your neighborhood pages.
Convenience and location are important factors when people are deciding whether they want to buy in a certain area. List or make a map of nearby shopping centers, grocery stores, bike paths, movie theatres, and other easily accessible amenities.
Don't just tell them about the neighborhood. Include current neighborhood listings to show them the homes they could be living in.
Take the opportunity to include information about the neighborhood's market. People may want to know things like how much homes in the neighborhood are going for, how much they have appreciated recently, what the average mortgage price is, and how the houses in this neighborhood compare to the city's average in terms of cost or square footage.
If your neighborhood has a homeowner's association, include a link to their website or documents outlining the HOA rules and regulations.
Many neighborhoods have their own pages on sites like Facebook and NextDoor. Find them and include the link so new residents can easily find it. If the neighborhood doesn't already have a page, set up and manage one yourself. This will help position you as the area expert and is a great way to reach homeowners in your neighborhoods.
