We all have, or want, Facebook accounts but many times the mystery is what do we do with the accounts?

Remember the point of being a real estate professional in the social spaces is to provide community information and value to your potential clients. You need to prove your expertise and knowledge and serve the community before people will come to you for real estate needs, usually.

How do you set yourself apart? Providing information via Facebook pages directed at area amenities. Forget "365 Things to Do in ______", now you need to take the top 10 and make Facebook pages for them. Connect your business page via "Like" and then share information on that page 1 out of 7 times from your real estate page on that information page.

I used a State Park as an example in a class I taught today at my office, it led me to consider the demographic of buyers who are seeking to be closer to those state parks for trails and such. I have sold quite a few homes to people like that. I am going to reach out to those clients and see about having them share tips via video of what their favorite part of those state parks, trails and amenities are.

Share, promote, connect. Be the expert on your community and the area surrounding it to establish yourself as the expert in your industry too.
