Up Close with Clareity's Broker Dashboard

December 06 2016

For brokerages looking to replace their aging intranet platform, there's a new player in town that can improve internal communication with agents and boost adoption of broker-provided tools.

Clareity's new broker dashboard, known as DASH!, offers single sign-on (SSO) access to all MLS and brokerage provided tools. If that sounds familiar, it should. DASH! is an extension of Clareity's MLS-provided SSO dashboards that serve over 800,000 agents in 175 MLSs and associations. The broker dashboard is accessible as page extension within the MLS dashboard, or as a standalone offering.

That's important because, according to Clareity, agents use their MLS dashboard an average of 3.4 times a day. That frequency of use makes the dashboard a superior place for brokers to promote the tools they provide to their agents.

The dashboard also serves to reduce frustration in agents. According to WAV Group satisfaction research, a major pain point for agents is having to run around the web to access the dozen or more tools that they use--as well as having to remember log-in information for each. By consolidating all of these tools in one place under one log-in, brokers can vastly increase adoption of the tools they offer agents.

Improving Internal Communication

The second major component of DASH! is its Notifications Module that lets brokers publish content of all kinds right to the dashboard--news, open houses, blog posts, reminders, videos, forms, training information, and beyond.

All content can be created right from the dashboard via a built-in Content Management System. Content is easy to customize to particular audiences, as well, thanks to a tagging system. Brokers can create tags for different user groups--certain teams, new agents, etc.--and tag content to those groups so that only those groups can view it.

To further improve read rates of notifications, brokers can choose to send them as push notifications to agents' mobile phones. Clareity tells us these have a much higher read rate than email: 90 percent compared to email's 20 percent.

The layout of the dashboards is highly customizable, too. We saw four broker dashboards during the creation of this article, with each brokerage arranging the content in the way that best suits their business.

Additional Features

It's not just the layout that brokers can customize; all dashboards are fully branded to the brokerage, as well.

And for brokers looking to offset the cost of their dashboard, Clareity has built in a Vendors and Affiliates module. This module offers ad space for a brokerage's vendors or affiliated companies to promote themselves to agents. Clareity says that this can improve adoption and capture rates for a brokerage's preferred service partners.

As we mentioned previously, brokers can host their dashboard as a tab or page extension off of their MLS's or association's dashboard. For brokers in a market without an existing dashboard, Clareity can create a standalone broker dashboard for you.

Clareity broker dashboards currently integrate with over 150 apps, including CoreLogic, Cloud CMA, ShowingTime, RPR, BoomTown, Google Apps, Evernote--and, yes, even RE Technology.
