Virtual Tour Provider Reveals Branding Makeover

June 09 2016

The world of virtual tours just got a little bit prettier. On Friday, VirtualTourCafe launched version "3.0" of its platform, complete with a new logo, website, and product interface. As you can see in the side-by-side logo comparison, the new branding (on the right) is much stronger and more explicitly related to real estate than the old iteration:

The website redesign is equally dramatic, but rather than show you screenshots, we'll direct you to the current site and then over to the Wayback Machine for comparison.

Beyond the shiny new looks, the virtual tour provider also introduced a few new features, such as:

  • The ability to add pictures, video clips, and panoramas
  • Drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to arrange the order of images
  • Prominent access to easy "how to" tutorials
  • Responsive design for your tour's "listing website" (see an example)
  • Full-screen view of tours now available
  • Automated property website themes, print flyers and custom flyers
  • Video only tours created automatically

A strong product update is not just about what's new, but also what's been kept around. We're glad to see neat features like the image editor and property amenities menu (see below) brought forward from VTC's previous version.

It's a lot easier to appreciate features like this now that they're housed within an interface that's easier to use. VirtualTourCafe's new design is more organized and more logical. Thanks to handy visual cues, users always know where they are in the process of creating a tour and which step comes next. This makes things far simpler and user-friendly.

Don't take our word for it, though. You can check out the new interface in action in this quick overview video:

If you are a current VirtualTourCafe customer, your account and tours have automatically been moved to the upgraded platform. If you're not a current user, does VTC's "makeover" make you more likely to try it out? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
