Wintertime photography can be an intimidating endeavor to say the least. As winter life is really more about getting cozy with a hot chocolate, some popped corn, and a movie or three, it’s hard to get motivated to go out into the icy cold and shoot photos – especially photos of houses.

Can you imagine? Standing outside shivering, trying to take pictures, while people drive by laughing at you from their warm cars… terrible.

I love these educational blogs Point2 posts on their blog! The tips are great and I always appreciate the images that show how certain tools can be used to create a better effect with a photo. Keep it up guys!

Great post. Although I live on the coast of California, I am going up to the mountains skiing - I will be sure to try out these techniques.

Here is another tip. If you live in an area of the country that has seasons, be sure to change out the photos every season - nothing shows days on market better than a winter photo in the middle of summer.
