Two MLSs in New York State Now Live with the ShowingTime Appointment Center and ShowingAssist

Staten Island's 1,600 members and Capital Region's 3,100 members went live in June and now enjoy 24/7 online showings plus the longest available open hours in the Real Estate industry

Chicago, IL – July 3, 2012—Two multiple listing services in New York State – the Staten Island Multiple Listing Service, Inc., and the Capital Region Multiple Listing Service – went live in June with the ShowingTime Appointment Center and ShowingAssist, its online scheduling counterpart, to enable members to efficiently request and manage showings and feedback.

The Appointment Center provides member offices and agents with a single phone number to request showings, and is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. EDT seven days a week. The service also allows members to quickly confirm or reschedule showings from their smart phones, in addition to providing 24/7 online scheduling. Homeowners can also confirm requests via two-way text messaging without being interrupted by a phone call.

"Members of the Staten Island MLS and the Capital Region MLS will be pleased with our level of service to help them manage showings and feedback," said ShowingTime Executive Vice President Michael Lane. Staten Island's members went live June 4, while the Capital Region went live June 26. "With the Appointment Center's extended hours, 2-way text messaging, and branded calls and emails, members gain efficiencies in the scheduling process along with market presence so they can focus on other tasks to expedite home sales."
