MRED LogoLISLE, IL--(Jul 19, 2011) - Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) (www.mredllc.com) announced today that its connectMLS™ system, used by its real estate professionals to access the largest active listing database in the country, is compatible with the latest versions of all popular browsers, including Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 5.0, Chrome 12, Safari 5, and even the new "social" browser RockMelt.

It has been a long-standing concern for brokers, agents and appraisers across the country that the MLS system they use on a day to day basis be accessible via all of the major browsers. Many are not, and it is a major accomplishment that MRED real estate professionals can freely use the Internet browser or mobile device of their choice to do the work needed to serve their customers. MRED and its MLS vendor, dynaConnections, have received kudos for connectMLS™ having functionality on iPads, which are so popular with real estate professionals today.

"One of the great benefits of being an MRED customer to me is they are so conscious of the different technologies and different vehicles used by agents to do business," said Andrea Geller of Coldwell Banker Residential in Chicago. "It helps immensely that connectMLS™ is Safari friendly and very functional on my iPad."

The connectMLS™ system has been functional on multiple browsers for a number of years, and MRED customers have had the benefit of that MLS system since 2003.

"It is a part of our mission to provide service to our real estate professionals in a way most conducive to how they do their business," said MRED CEO Russ Bergeron. "Being browser agnostic, i.e. accessible via any browser, has been and continues to be a target we strive toward, not only in our MLS system but in all of the products and services we provide to MRED customers."

Good job MRED! How does Dynaconnections look on an iPad? I predict we're going to see a large percentage of agents switch away from accessing their MLS on their smartphone and use the iPad instead because of the viewing experience and usability is so much better.
