Kodak Continues to Help Customers Connect with Pro Quality By Using Latest Version of KODAK PROFESSIONAL Digital Print Production Software – DP2 v 14

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jun. 15 -- Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) today announced the newest version of its KODAK PROFESSIONAL Digital Print Production Software Version 14 (DP2v14). DP2 has become a staple in professional labs, helping them consistently integrate new category offerings through creative design tools, high speed processing, flexible workflow configurations and efficient output to a wide range of printers. The latest version of DP2 delivers greater productivity, improved image quality and makes it easier for pro labs to add creative new products for their customers.

New enhancements and benefits in DP2v14 include:
•    New image tone-scale contrast segment adjustments for better control of image detail within image shadows and highlights
•    Improved Auto color management application on images with embedded profiles
•    New black & white image output neutralizer to eliminate unwanted color casts
•    New green screen workflows and feature improvements including integrated routing of images to 36 Pix for Knock Out services
•    New support for High Definition textures for the KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Press for differentiated output and customized products
•    New controls to vary the color and style of individual characters in rendered text for creative new products
Kodak will showcase DP2v14 at the 2011 KODAK Pro Lab Workshop.  During this annual event, Kodak will discuss how new output offerings (Pages and Screens) complement traditional offerings (Prints) to redefine the landscape of professional photography. As these markets continue to unfold, Kodak will share a series of presentations under the theme of “Markets in Motion” to help participants better understand what opportunities lie ahead for Pro Labs. Discussions will contemplate an ecosystem that supports a balance of prints, pages and screens to yield the best offering to consumers, while also maintaining profit margins.
