Market Manager West Division
Market Manager East Division

Realtors Property Resource (RPR) recently announced that a major milestone has been reached with over 600,000 of the nation’s REALTORS® are already part of the RPR program.  Close to 500,000 of those are launched, and the rest are soon to follow.  To be sure that this valuable member benefit is realized, RPR’s Industry Relations team is recruiting two new Market Managers, who will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships in assigned markets, working closely with local and state association and MLS staff to improve communication and develop and deliver programs to improve adoption of the RPR system.

Both of these positions are field based, and the candidates must be able to travel approximately 50% of their time. Experience in a sales, account management or leadership role with a real-estate service provider such as an Association/MLS or technology product company is required, knowledge and experience with residential real estate is preferred.  Ideal locations for the candidates are the Boston area or New England for the East position and Chicago or upper Midwest for the West position. Close proximity to a major airport is required. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, account management and training experience and skills.  Outstanding communication and presentation skills are essential.  The successful candidate will be comfortable reaching out to people they haven’t met, and able to communicate the benefits and value proposition of the RPR system in terms that the listener can relate to. He/She must be able to plan and execute unique market strategies to drive territory and overall company objectives. A complete and total raving enthusiasm for RPR is also required, along with the ability and willingness to effectively communicate that enthusiasm to agents, brokers, MLS/Association leaders and executives.  A strong understanding of the real estate industry and technical savvy are also important.  Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and able to effectively and efficiently use technology tools for internal communications and reporting, as well as in performance of their account management duties.

Base salary and bonus compensation based on performance are commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits, including a great team working environment.

MLS Support Representative
The MLS Support Representative serves as the primary technical contact for the data feed providers. The MLS Support Representative is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality of data presentation. In addition, the MLS Support Representative will provide contract administration and support to the Industry Relations team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (Not All-Inclusive):

  •  Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. contract management, data mapping, specific local market requirements, etc.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  •  Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Industry Relations team member or Director of Data Management of any problems that may arise.
  •  Responsible for consistent, proactive communication with client.
  •  Works closely with the Implementation, Product and DAGG Teams in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the data feed.
  •  Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met.
  •  Responsible for testing live and production data, troubleshoot and effectively resolve issues.
  •  Responsible for researching, assigning, and working through Help Desk Tickets individually and as a team, on a continual basis.
  •  May assist Market Management team at MLS events, conventions, customer training and off-site meetings as needed.
  •  Responsible for keeping accurate records of account activity and creating account reports for
  • Industry Relations team members as needed.
  • Provides ongoing account support.
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates to the client.
  • Assists with the training of new MLS Support Representatives, as needed.
  • Reports to the Manager, MLS Support providing regular input on all account activity, including status reports on a weekly basis.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field preferred. A minimum of three years of Customer
  • Service experience is essential.

Ideal candidate will be a highly creative and proactive individual with the ability to plan and execute projects from beginning to resolution. Must be skilled in multi-tasking, time management, organization, developing relationships, making decisions and possess excellent communication skills.
