Homes.com Visits Jump in May

The May Hitwise list of the top ten real estate websites looks very similar to April's list. Although seven of the ten didn't change ranks, including the top six sites, there was still significant growth to report. Homes.com is holding steady at the number five spot for a third consecutive month, but still saw a noteworthy increase in visits shared for the month, going from 3.44% in April to 3.52% in May! MSN Real Estate, Trulia, and Zillow remained in their same spots from the month of April but also saw slight increases, while Yahoo! and Realtor.com saw a decrease in visits. Rent.com also remained at number eight with a .08% increase in visits.

Apartment Guide definitely made some serious headway in May by knocking AOL Real Estate out of the number seven spot. And MyNewPlace came back into the top ten after being absent for quite a while. But, as for the rest of the ranks, things are definitely tightening up. Since Homes.com is still seeing a significant increase in visits over each month, it looks like it won't be long before we see a change in ranks!
