dsSearchAgent is designed around Web 2.0 features that make connections and engagement between the consumer and the agent seamless. This product is built from the ground up to be a map-based search solution. Sliders and features that allow the consumer to narrow their search criteria are dressed along the left side of the map for ease of use. This design is not only very functional, but it allows the consumer to view more property information without scrolling down the page.

Like most IDX solutions, dsSearchAgent has many features that encourage consumers to register to the website to access helpful property search tools. For example, customers can save a search and get listing alerts. dsSearchAgent goes even further by allowing the consumer to get the information in the form of an RSS Feed as well as email. Customers can also register to add their own notes to property. The agent back office control panel allows for easy access to customer searches, favorites, and viewing patterns. There are also some nice features that allow agents to organize leads.

This product is more promise than delivery. Missing key features of a rich IDX platform. They charge substantial fees to "customize" their software which is basically secret add up fees to get basic usability. Beware.

I agree with the Art Momper. How does it get 5 stars? WAY overpriced compared to Listing Book or iHomefinder. Listing book is one fourth the cost! To track client activity you must log into each customer account one at a time. If you have 100 prospects this becomes daunting. You pay $50 to have relevant criteria added to searches. The stock choices include "dual vanities" but not something useful like "single story"! HELLO!!! Support is responsive and helpful unlike iHomefinder ($60 a month)whose tech support is like AT&T was in the bad old days. Listingbook is only $25 a month but the support slipped from good to bad as they grew and the lack of branding was a problem for me.
