homefinder_QR_signWhere else could QR codes be flaunted to attract the eye of homebuyers trolling neighborhoods, looking for their dream home?  For Sale signs!  Homebuyers cruising around on a Sunday afternoon pursuing attractive neighborhoods can scan a QR code from a For Sale sign from their car and view photos, property details, pricing, open house schedule and the listing agent’s contact information.  In an era of convenience and catering to the consumer, QR codes start to look for attractive in promoting real estate listings.

This week we were able to preview a marketing solution by Homefinder.com that provides a QR code component for real estate professionals. We spoke with Mark Tepper, VP of Business Development and Sales, specifically with regards to QR codes.

Interesting stuff - QR codes are a very interesting technology - it will be interesting to see if consumers wrap their arms this new tool or not.

If you have ever tried to type in a domain name like 123455BelevedereRoad.com on your cell phone, you will quickly understand why QR codes are genius. Take a quick photo with your phone and you are instantly transported to the information you want.

While there is no link to the earlier articles on the first page of this article I used the RE Technology search at the top of the page and just typed "QR Codes" and was taken to them in a second. This search tool is outstanding and pulls up the results by products, company, article, etc. Check it out!
