The ultimate purpose of any broker website is to capture customers. Unfortunately, most do a rather poor job of this. Website conversion and ultimately making money are the topics of today's post.
The visitor conversion equation is pretty straightforward and often ignored. Search result position, title tag, description, and page content are the critical components of conversion.
A huge factor in conversion is where your site ranks in a Google search. I've written numerous posts on the technical factors that impact your ranking results for keyword searches. It is important that your team executes consistently on these block-and-tackle fundamentals. Click-through rates fall off dramatically the lower your site ranks. A number five ranking typically results in only twenty percent of the click-throughs of a number one ranked site, all things being equal. We have no intention in leaving things equal.
