How to Educate Your Clients In Social Media

One of our main goals at ReachFactor is helping you stay connected to your clients by promoting your skills and reputation online. Part of that involves social media connectivity for your real estate agent marketing. But what good is a Facebook page, a Twitter account, an iPad and smartphone if your clients are not using technology to communicate with you and find new listings? Once you sign up a new buyer or seller, once the agreements are signed and the handshakes go around, take a moment to hook your clients up with some helpful smartphone apps and some social networking know-how. Here's what you can do:
1. Put their cell phone number in your phone on day one and send them a text: This is a great way to get the ball rolling. They have your number, you have theirs and a text session has already been started. When your clients need to reach you or want to request a viewing, you're instantly available. And from what we see in the client reviews that come through our office daily, this is what prospects want in a real estate agent — availability.
