A study recently published in London suggests that a new phobia is one the rise across the globe: nomophobia.
What is nomophobia? Nomophobia (abbreviation for “no-mobile-phone-phobia”) is the fear of being out of mobile contact. Research shows that more and more people fear being without or losing their mobile device.Almost everywhere you go, whether you’re out at a restaurant or just walking down the street, you get the impression that people absolutely love and are addicted their handsets; maybe a little too much.

I think the mobile things are convenient, but I have actually lost business because of them- last year I had an important message get lost and the client left me right before making the offer! I also have lost "personal" touch with some of my COI, especially people who are now on FB and I don't call as much.
