Buyers sometimes miss out on homes because their narrow search criteria filters out perfectly matched homes, typically due to price. If the seller knew there was a perfectly matched buyer who was pre-qualified and could close quick, maybe they would submit a reverse offer that was more in-line with the buyers target price.
